I see you looking at me wondering how it must be. Curious yet fearful and thinking you never want to be me. You think about your own then think of mine, wondering if you could ever survive. I see you looking at me and you see strength, but what you don't know is the strength doesn't always come from me it comes from those who have paid the same price as me, and without them You wouldn't be looking at me.

These beautiful faces were some of the first graphics I created during the initial months and the first year after losing my child~ Facebook memories now coming up on my profile. Looking at each beautiful face brings me back to a time I first realized I wasn't alone, as other mothers reached out to give me their loving support. It also reminds me of a time when I was beginning to realize how unkind bereavement can be.
